Kristen Lebeda-Svehla Head Coach
- 3 time NAIA All-American selection - Part of CSM Final 4 Team - USA Level II CAP Certified - 19 years playing and coaching experience
Lebeda-Svehla brings 18 years of coaching and playing experience to the Warrior program. Lebeda, a native of Omaha, Neb., enters her third season as the head coach at Midland Lutheran College after leading the Warriors to the GPAC Post-Season Tournament in her first year. Lebeda-Svehla has a career coaching record of 18-48. Prior to leading the Warriors, Lebeda-Svehla served as an assistant coach at the College of St. Mary for two years. In her last season at CSM, the Flames recorded a 31-9 record, while qualifying for the 2004 NAIA national volleyball tournament. Before accepting the job at St. Mary’s, Lebeda-Svehla served as an assistant coach for the University of Nebraska-Omaha in the fall of 2002. Prior to her stint at Nebraska-Omaha, Lebeda-Svehla served as both a head coach and an assistant coach with the River City Juniors from 1998-2003.
A 2002 graduate of the College of St. Mary, Lebeda-Svehla was a three-time AVCA All-American. Her team qualified for the NAIA National Tournament three consecutive seasons (1999-2001). Lebeda-Svehla was the MCAC Player of Year and Region IV Player of the Year in 2000 and was named the MCAC Newcomer of the Year in 1998.
Lebeda-Svehla formerly served as the director of the Great Plains Region High Performance Volleyball Team, and formerly assisted with the Premier Volleyball Club. She is also pursuing her Master’s Degree in Education. _______________________________________________________________________________
Jenny Paden Assistant Coach
Paden enters her second season as an assistant on the Warriors staff. A Fremont native, Paden graduated from Archbishop Bergan Catholic High School in Fremont, and Dana College, in Blair, and competed in volleyball as well. Paden and her husband Isaac reside in Fremont.

Andrea Sikora Assistant Coach
Andrea Sikora begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Warriors. A native of Falls City, Nebraska, Sikora had a standout career at the College of Saint Mary, in Omaha, where she was a teammate with Kristen Lebeda. Sikora was a defensive specialist and an outside hitter for the Flames. After graduation from CSM in 2004, Sikora spent two years coaching at Mount Mary College in Wisconsin.
